Day 24: Meeting left wounds

Sunny Sunday! After having a satisfying lunch at home, I went to the Starbucks on the USC campus to prepare for a Zoom meeting with my PI scheduled for later that night. Although there wasn’t much to prepare since I had a meeting here already, I made sure to do my best. I had a wrap from Starbucks for dinner simply and focused on preparing the PPT.

 

Later, I had the Zoom meeting with my PI, and there was an unpleasant conversation. The meeting left me feeling overwhelmed with sadness, and I ended up crying a lot. My mind was in a state of turmoil, so I called my bf and sobbed loudly. It was definitely a sad ending to the day….
