#Nari_in_LA #Day12 #240213
Feeling frustrated due to my poor English skills, I had a slight breakdown last night. However, this morning, I listened to the Korea Herald Podcast on my way to school. I admire myself for persistently trying various methods without succumbing to thoughts like, ‘This is my limitation; let’s give up.’ From now on, I’ve decided to study English with Podcast every day during my commute.
After wrapping up some quick experiments, my colleagues and I headed to USC Village for lunch together. It was my first time at Honeybird! The standout feature there is the offering of honey to accompany the chicken and fries. Needless to say, I left plenty for my dinner. I cherished the moments spent with friends, basking in the sunshine while dining outside.
Returning to the experimental mode, I ventured to another building to borrow a chemical. And I met a Korean friend, G, for the first time. She was introduced to me by my lab mate. To my delight, she presented us with her homemade cookies - such a sweet! On my way home, I couldn’t resist capturing photos of LA’s breathtaking sunset. With Valentine’s Day approaching tomorrow, the road was adorned with many mini shops selling flowers and candies.
